No Free Food and a Cat Flap War

Dear all,

I am very much hoping there will be a photoshoot for this blog. I have washed my whiskers and paws in anticipation. Yet again, my Human forgot about my blog and migrated to Facebook. I have put my paws down and here we are back here on the blog. I must tell you it is hard work being a blogging cat when your Human forgets to update your blog. I tried to tell her, I really did.
Ah, here we go. This is me looking very beautiful. And me looking after the garden. I will squeeze some words in between the pictures.

I come first, don't I?

I am really annoyed with Human 1. She says she has a lot to do writing other stuff, but I say I ought to come first, oughtn't I? Now let's update you on what has been going on in my world.

No Freegle Food for Me!

I have discovered cod chunks and eat them raw. I suppose that makes up for the free food in tins we didn't get on Freegle.

It seems that Freegle is a site where you ask Humans and other cats who have got spare cat food if you can have it and if they have still got it you can.

What a good idea! We nearly applied for a free cat litter try as well, but my Human says I have a perfectly good cat flap and can use it.

I think Humans also give away other stuff free on Freegle, or offer it if they don't want it. I stick to the cat stuff myself. Talking of which, I must tell you about the cat flap war in my house.

The Cat Flap War

I do not like the cat flap. I am waging a war against it. I have taken to sitting by the door by the cat flap and waiting for the door to be opened. I think this is only fair.

Human 1 (what I call my Human,) uses the door, so why shouldn't I? Cat flaps are for lesser cats. I think I may be winning. It's important I have a clear view for monitoring the local dogs. I have scared most of them off, but there may still be a few to work on.

MyLot news

Other than that, I am pleased to announce that my dearest adopted Nephew, has finally begun to post on MyLot. I think all us kitties who used to blog together are there now and with some new ones.

Some people say MyLot is for Humans to talk about stuff, but we cats are very good at taking over places that pay you to write in order to keep our dinner dishes filled. So far nobody has complained.

LIKE me please!

Now then, please do like my Facebook Page if you pass by. Human 1 says I am ridiculous for having one, but I insist. I have to keep up my profile in case my book ever gets published. See the link above as I am most concerned not to upset some kind of animal called Google who hates a blog stuffed with links.

Yours with love, Freya, the Catblog Catxx

The Catblog: I am so Bored

Human 1 finally chucked me off the sofa and I think it most rude of her. It is not my fault that the weather went wrong and I had to sleep on the sofa in the warm for two days straight and Human 1 also still fails to figure out how to turn the rain off.
In between my snoozes I really tried to make it work, but there are only so many times you can walk accross the chest of drawers to the coffee table and up to the window sill and down onto Human 1 on the sofa and onto the dining table. I really do not think that broken vase was me at all.
It all got a bit much so I took to sitting on the sofa back and meowing my head off, just for something to do.
So here we sit blogging, my Human and I. I am waiting for the world to change so I can go outside. Even Mr Badcat has stayed away. The weather is keeping us cats inside and just now, rushing up and down the stairs over and over seems a mildly interesting thing to do. Love from Freya, the Catblog Cat.

The Catblog: So?

This is another of the famous Catblog's by me, Freya, the Catblog Cat. I am dictating, as usual, from the sofa, while pretending to be asleep. Human 1 has an annoying habit of checking I am still alive so I thought I had better do something. So? You have to write a Catblog from somewhere.
Over on Facebook, I have been forming a relationship with Debbie's new kitten. Huckleberry seems a worthy successor to Mr Guiness and his writing skills are improving. Mildred and others pop in. The Professional Cat Blogger's Association is not dead. We just need the Huckster to grow up an bit more so he can inherit the President's title.
Of course, Mr Guiness is still sorely missed. I suppose, being old in cat years myself, I will meet him again at some point in the not so distant future, but so far, I still feel and act like a kitten so Human 1 thinks I may last a while yet.
Iris, Human 1's son's cat is growing too. That Tortoishell won't leave Josh's side it seems. We still have not met, but I send over a few spare cat toys. Grey Mousie though, is sadly, no more and Human 1 has not replaced him.
Well, (yawn, stretch.) The food in my bowl here is not very interesting so I am off next door to try and con Human 2 into another breakfast. When the lovely man who lived with her was alive he once thought Human 1 was not feeding me and she showed him all the cat bowls of food in the kitchen. He was most surprised, but Human 2 and I still pretend I am not fed. it works well for us both.
My little house in the garden is letting in the rain. It is most annoying, but Mr Badcat will get wet if he tries to use it again and that serves him right. He is still after my dinner.
Love from Freya, the Catblog Cat.

The Catblog: Human 1 is now a Cat

I think Human 1 is now a Cat. I have evidence for this. A self-respecting cat like myself spends a gloomy, rainy day like this on the sofa. Human 1 has spent the entire day on ours with me sleeping beside her.
Human 1 has stopped wearing clothes. She has a new fur. Human 1 says it is a Onesie, but it works like fur and she has been in it all day and night.
Human 1 is also refusing to go out in the rain, and she took, briefly to running up and down the stairs quickly. She did have some thing in her paws, but I think I can help her drop that habit in time.
At one point she looked at me and said "meow." This proves it. She is nearly intelligible.
Oh and we are both eating the cream. I am sure I just saw Human 1 become extremely cat like and lick her paws and the saucer. We are not yet eating from the same saucer and Human 1 got hers from the freezer and called it ice cream, but I do think there is potential.
I am going to teach her to play with the white mousie I am using while grey mousie is AWOL.
I rest my case. Human 1 is now a cat.

Love from Freya, the Catblog Cat.
